I've been wanting to post my outfit of the day but by the end of the day I'm too tired to do it! Technically, this is what I wore Friday but better late than never!
I wanted a purple shirt to bring out the color in my glasses (even though my camera can't)There's a vertical stripe detail on the shirt too. I liked it better with my pointy toe red flats than black, and had a matching necklace, so there it is!
Friday wasn't too eventful though. just work and hue, a Korean lounge/ restaurant with thee girls for our fav fried chicken wings! Sushie and Joan ran into Yulius, a technologist that works for a company bought out by mtv, and he picked up our tab. :] Wait. That was Thursday. oopsie
Friday I worked job1 and went with Sushie to rumors, another Korean restaurant. We ordered mostly the same stuff but Hue's wings are tastier!
A place we saw on the way:
I drove home and tried editing my picture in photobucket. It made my laptop lag like a mother and ended up leaving half of my arm out. blehh
By fourAM I realized I was supposed to be awake in a couple hours for job2! I was tossing and turning and woke up a zombie I hated it. Amy came to get me and we met up with Joan and Bao at Shoreline. Seriously, the easiest gig ever. hanging out all day in a booth with my friends, occasionally helping a customer, eating, and getting into events for free! This is Projekt Revolution:
just the lawn area. There's even more people in the seats area
Part of the crowd. I think during Chris Cornell
such good lighting effectsChris Cornell and Chester in a little duet (on the screen)
We set up around 10 in the morning. I worked until 5pm when Sushie showed up after managing h&m. I watched part of Ashes Divided and some other band, The Bravery, Chris Cornell, and Linkin Park. Busta Rhymes was a no show! rats! I wanted to see that. Joan, Katy, Mike our bodyguard, Tomoko and I caught the Linkin Park performance. Linkin Park is really good live. I hadn't realized how many of their songs I actually know. Mike is so cool I have a little celeb crush now! He plays the guitar, keyboard, raps and sings and smiles the whole time doing it. :]When we came back to our booth, they were almost finished packing up and some drunkards tried giving Amy trouble by sitting out one of our folding tables. Amy so nice they weren't listening to her. Sushie walks over and says, "Actually we have to fold this now" and flips the table over. They kept acting dumb so I'm standing in the booth watching and felt it was about time to show them whose boss! As I'm walking over, Katy the 5'10 wonder started screaming at them. They still went on acting dumb talking about her direct approach but security was nearby, so they left.
Where was bodyguard Mike when we needed him!! So we were right! Sushie and Katy are the emotional ones that will scream their heads off at you. Bao and I are the calm enforcers that will kill you and kick you afterward. Amy is the nice one we need to buy a scarf and mask for her pretty face so the boys will back off! and Joan is the conservative one who will say, "You know what you did" to the corpse and pray for their soul. and that's that.
The weekend is so short! Work in the morning and another week begins.
